Pioneer Camp
Join us for Pioneer Camp 2025! This year we’ll be enjoying three half days of fun focused on the early life of residents here in Carver County. What did it take for our pioneers to make it to Minnesota? What choices did they have when immigrating to the US? What did kids get to do on the farms? Let’s have some fun doing chores and talking about farming! Finally let’s learn about the first schools pioneer kids went to and the games they played at recess!
This camp is for kids in or just leaving grades K-2! Ten seats available. Camp will take place at the Historic Andrew Peterson Farmstead. Sorry, no farm animals will be present during the camp.
Date/Time: June 25 – June 27, 9am to 12pm each day (Wed-Fri)
Price: $95/Members, $105/Nonmembers
Handicrafts: Let’s Sew!
Join us for a half day crafty camp! Sewing is an essential skill (yes, even today)! Come to Handicrafts: Let’s Sew! to get started! In this camp we’ll go over how to thread a needle, a couple basic stitches, and combine these new skills to work on a first-time sewing project. Campers will be provided everything they need to take part in this camp and get to keep their new sewing materials! This camp is aimed at those interested in sewing for the first time and will act as a short introduction to a potential new hobby.
This camp is for kids Grades 3-6! Ten seats available. Camp will take place at the Historic Andrew Peterson Farmstead.
Date/Time: July 16th, 1-4pm
Price: $30/Members, $40/Nonmembers
